Shockfactor, No one is safe?

This advert isn’t subtle in its portrayal of drink driving. Unlike the previous video it is very linear and less ‘clever’ its portrayal of its message. But just because it is any less ‘clever’ does not remove from the overall shock factor. The music sets the very sinister tone from the start and the plot builds up. The main shock factor is the unexpected - the audience don’t see how the two storylines connect until the very end. The use of friends and family makes it much more personal to an audience. The point of the advert is at any moment alcohol can burst the little bubble we all live in - no one is safe, not even children.
